Clear Windows DNS Cache
Many times you may go to a website on different occasions expecting to see some new information on their webpages, only to see the same ole stuff displayed.  Maybe they have updated their webpage and the reason you're not seeing it is because you have old cruddy stuff stuck on your computer's hard drive.  To resolve this do the following:

  1. Clear you Internet browser's cache.
  2. Next you need to Clear the Windows DNS Cache.

If you wish to stop XP from placing negative entries into cache, you can make this change in your registry.

    1. Goto HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\ Dnscache\Parameters
    2. Build a new DWORD value called NegativeCacheTime and give it a value of 0
